Creating has always been a big part of my life, and I’m thrilled that I get to use my lifelong gifts and experiences to pour into others who are just starting their artistic journey.

—it allows us to see God’s hand in our stories. From the moment I could hold a crayon, creativity has been my constant companion. It's a legacy I cherish, passed down from my artistic grandfather who ignited the spark of inspiration within me. But it wasn't just him; countless others have played their part, shaping and encouraging me along this creative odyssey.

With my father's keen engineering skills and architectural drawings, and my mother's love for tending blossoms and gardens, I was surrounded by influences that fueled my imagination.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing

Early on, I knew I wanted to grow up to be a mother, a teacher, and an artist, and that soon became my reality. As an Elementary Education major, I eagerly immersed myself in art classes, experimenting with watercolors, oil, acrylic, and even clay. For six years, I was the heart and soul of a first-grade classroom, infusing creativity into every lesson. Summers were dedicated to teaching young minds the magic of art.

Then, the momentous decision came to step away from teaching, cradling our firstborn in my arms. Two year later came son number two. Then the birth of our twin daughters brought unexpected blessings, inspiring the creation of a collection of 24 Christian greeting cards, adorned with scripture.

What began as a personal endeavor quickly blossomed. Local stores clamored to showcase these heartfelt creations, launching the journey of Multiple Blessings. Soon, a remarkable rep group championed the brand, propelling my stationery and gift products to over 250 independent retailers nationwide.

As my creative ventures evolved, I discovered a yearning to return to the heart of it all — the art itself. Stepping away from the manufacturing side, I immersed myself in the captivating realm of art licensing in 2007. Countless manufacturers have woven my art and patterns into their products, adorning homes with a touch of warmth and inspiration. For a decade, Courtney Davis, Inc. faithfully represented my brand, forging lasting connections.

Teaching women, both near and far, and helping them uncover their inner artist has become my passion.

Murals and public art now grace my canvas, each stroke a testament to the joy of expression.
